Do you have frameless, builder grade mirrors installed in your home? Maybe you're a new homeowner and your bathrooms simply came that way. Or perhaps you've lived in your home for years, even decades and your mirrors are now desilvering, a process caused by moisture seeping between the glass mirror and its backing.

Whatever reason you may have to want to frame your mirrors, the next logical question would be: how much will framing my mirrors cost me?

Currently there are 3 options to choose from to have your mirrors framed.

First, you can DIY your frame installation by sourcing your own framing material and adhering it to your mirror yourself, either by strong glues such as liquid nails, or nailed to the wall, risking hitting the nail on the glass and shattering it. This option doesn't always turn out looking very professional.

Second, you can order a DIY frame kit from a company with an extensive range of frame options and provide your mirror's measurements. You will have to pay to order any samples you would like to see in person, and you will have to install the frame yourself. If you have anything obstructing your mirror's edges, such a an adjacent shower's sill, window sills, outlets, light switches, or medicine cabinets, you will have to make a notch in the frame with a special tool or remove the medicine cabinet.

Thirdly, you can call us to visit your home with our complete sample offering, you can pick out your frame as we show you installed examples on an iPad, and we handle the precise measurements and any special cuts needed for your project.

Now that you know your options, your decision may come down to cost. What do we charge?

Our pricing is based on 2 factors: Size and style.

How big is your mirror and what frame style would you like?

Obviously a frame for a mirror thats 100" long in an intricate design will cost more than one that's 30" long in a simple, flat profiled frame.

How much was the frame in the picture above? This frame was 62" x 42" in a frame that is considered decorative, in the Chelsea Bronze style. We charged $339 including installation. Was that more or less than you were expecting? Let us know in the comments!
